Quick start
Install & sign in
Sideload only the signed file supplied through your entitled account. Open QuickDrop, launch browser sign-in, and return to the app. Magic links show a confirmation page first so mail scanners cannot consume them. Optional phone pairing expires quickly; the controller browser always works by itself.
Connect destinations
Drive and YouTube are separate permissions. Choose the dedicated QuickDrop Drive folder and the exact existing YouTube channel, including the intended Brand Account. Reconnect either service in Settings if revoked. Google’s UI may require channel creation; QuickDrop cannot silently create one.
Select videos
Use the Android system folder picker. Access is persisted read-only. All excludes already verified files; Today means the newest represented calendar date. Naming can be edited without blocking the queue.
Transfer and recovery
Unmetered networking is the default—it often means Wi-Fi, but Android may classify other networks as unmetered. Interrupted 8 MiB chunks reconcile offsets and resume after reboot. “Drive verified” means the provider was queried after upload. “YouTube processing” is not complete; the final state independently checks video ID, channel, processing and actual privacy.
Common problems
Drive full and YouTube quota errors remain attached to the queue item with retry guidance. A new unaudited YouTube API project can force uploads to Private even when Unlisted was requested; QuickDrop displays the actual privacy and never calls that Unlisted verified. Duplicate source identities reuse the existing record. QuickDrop never deletes remote copies or controller originals.
Billing and devices
Manage cancellation in the hosted billing portal. Failed payment may use an operator-configured grace period. A one-controller limit is the default configuration; revoke the old controller before replacement or contact support. Diagnostics redact access tokens, refresh tokens, session credentials and resumable URLs.
Tested: local protocol/provider simulations. Planned acceptance: DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise on Android 11, real Google destinations, real Stripe test mode, and production signing.
